TANTRA : The loom of being, the web of creation and experience occurring always, here, now, this moment

Tantra means weave or loom and refers to the thread of being that connects all things to all things, including our divine hearts with divine mind. In the West, tantra has been often interpreted in the context of sacred sexuality, leaving its meaning confusing or obscure to many.

Tantra is liberation theology. Tantric ritual and practice flows from that active and generative moment when we connect with everything Divine, and suddenly understand our co-connection and co-creatorship with life on earth and eternity. It's immediate sometimes, a surprise, a flash, a well-lit moment of being, and you realize, I'm Divine, and so is my partner, so are my friends and family, so is the world and that Love can only expand and extend.

These moments of vision allow you to see where you have been repressed with dukkha (constriction of the heart), and open true sight to the the fullness of your being, that the world is an amazing and vibrant gift.

In the West, we have had a great deal of constriction around our bodies, around varying expressions of intimacy, and specifically sexual expression. So when the ancient ideas of tantra came to the west in the 19th century, spiritual and bodied liberation was interpreted in terms of sex, and we have tantra as most of us know it today.
Tantric practice shows us how to unlock and unleash our hearts, bodies, and spirits, and to embrace the divinity that flows through us, around us, and from us.

Rogues are anomalous plants in a field, the trickster greens changing everything to red with their bursting hearts. Sometimes the pot we have been planted in is simply too small, or the soil is not right for growth. Breathe , think with your heart, stand firm from the root and you will merge with what you know to be true.

You are already free, already liberated, already Divine. Where the celebration and practice of that takes you is your tantric heart expanding into bliss, peace, and passion for all that comes.
